A quick fix service is NOT a full service cleaning and lubrication appointment. It is a quick diagnostic appointment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and attempt to resolve sewing machine issues quickly.
Your machine will not be fully cleaned and lubricated, no timing adjustments, chemical cleanings or complex procedures will be completed.
If lint and thread build-up is part of the issue, it will be removed if the area can be accessed quickly (full covers will not be removed on modern plastic bodied machines), but a full service will not be performed.
This can fix sewing issues on many machines with this service, if the machine has been maintained with regular maintenance.
After troubleshooting your sewing machine issues, I will proceed on one of the following options:

If your machine leaves in working order. I suggest you have schedule a full service appointment. When you schedule a full-service appointment with in 6 months of your quick service appointment. Your Quick Fix fee will be applied to your Full-Service appointment charge. Please see the Pricing Page. I will make sure you know what the issue was, and how to correct it, if it was caused by user error, or a simple fix.
- If I am unable to have your machine sewing properly with a Quick Fix Service. We suggest that you leave your machine, and it will be put in the service queue. I will also give you details on the issues found or expected for your machine, an estimate, and any other pertinent information. The Quick Fix Fee will be applied for your Full Machine Service. If your machine is repairable but needs full service, or parts replacement, the Quick Fix fee is non-refundable if you choose not to leave your machine for service.
- If your machine is broken beyond repair, needs extensive repair that you are not prepared for, or the costs outweigh the value of your machine, I will refund the Quick Fix fee. For example: Broken gears, seized machine, broken electronics or broken parts that I can not replace.
Quick Fixes DO NOT come with any type of labor warranty. It is a one-time fee for a diagnostic, trouble-shooting, or simple fixes.
Your Quick-Fix fee will be applied to a Full-Service appointment on the same machine. Full-service must be completed within six-months of the Quick Fix appointment date to be applied.
