In Person Workshop #001: Get to know your sewing machine

Get to know your new (or new to you) sewing machine

This is a good place to start for people new to sewing
This workshop will help the new sewist get to know your sewing machine.

• How to change a needle,
• How to thread
• How to wind a bobbin.
• Determine what bobbin your machine takes
• We will practice sewing straight lines and curves, how to pivot. 
• Learn about basic tools for starting your sewing adventure.

Please bring with you:

• The Power cord and foot pedal
• A bobbin
• A Zig-Zag, or straight stitch presser foot
• The User Manual (if you have it)
• Thread, if you have any.

The cost of the workshop covers equipment and use of tools & scrap material to practice on fabric will be available for you to learn sewing basics.

This Sewing workshop is for a personalized sewing session. The day and time will be coordinated with the student.
Each workshop is available for a one or two hour session.

*Please note: This is an In-Person Workshop NOT via online/zoom.

• Once you purchase a workshop a registration form will be sent via the email.
• If the student is a minor, a waiver will need to be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian.
• The workshop address will be emailed once I receive the registration form & waiver.
