In Workshop #10 - Sewing Machine Mat

We will cut material and make a Sewing Machine Mat. Not only will this protect the surface your sewing machine sits on, especially if you don't have a dedicated sewing table, but it also have pockets to keep your favorite sewing tools handy while you sew.
You can also add buttons to hang a Thread Catcher.

If you don't have fabric for class, you can purchase fabric from me the day of class from my available fabric stash. Please let me know 48 hours before class.

Material needed for this workshop is: 

  • 2 - 16" x 20" piece of Cotton Fabric for exterior
  • 1 - 6" x 20" piece of Cotton Fabric for the large pocket
  • 1 - 4" x 20" piece of Cotton Fabric for the small pocket
  • 1- 3" x 75" Double fold Binding for border
  • 2 - 3" x 20" Double fold Binding for pockets
  • Thread (If you want a specific color) Some thread will be available for the workshop.

This Sewing workshop is for an personalized sewing session
Each personalized workshop session is coordinated with the student.
This workshop will need two 2 - hour sessions.
